Since 2006, Open Arms Clinic has provided health care services to over 1,200 Stephens County citizens.

We help our patients learn to manage chronic and critical illnesses such as high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes and even cancer. We provide access to urgent eye and dental care, and provide over $3 million in prescription medicines.

Why a Free Clinic

The loss of good jobs in Stephens County has led to increasing numbers of uninsured. Those who don't have insurance frequently can't afford preventative care and put off seeing a doctor due to finances. Then, they end up going to the Emergency Room, often sicker once they get there because they delayed treatment. The result is lost productivity in our county and increased tax expense to care for these residents.
